A Way out of AMD Driver Hell
Several months ago, I swapped my nVidia Card for an AMD Radeon Graphics Card. At that point in time, I was able to install AMD’s latest WHQL-Driver, 13.12, without any problem. Days and weeks passed by (and the card working fine), AMD releases a new driver. Every PC Gamer knows that 1st Rule is to …

Atari VCS 2600 Joystick Micro Switch Mod.
In this gallery we’ll see how to modify an old Atari Joystick for improved game play. The old switches tend to stop working , and had to be replaced with modern micro “click” switches. Atari VCS 2600 Composite Video Mod
Credits for this mod go to Circuit-board.de My Atari VCS was resting for 5+ years in the cellar when I finally got Yars’ Revenge for it. (Recommended by a fellow Retro Gamer). To hookup the VCS to the TV, I used the builtin antenna cable. As you can guess, Image quality was horrible ! So …

Master System 50/60 Hz Mod (w. Switch)
Recently I had a spare Switch and a little time, and got inspired to pull off a 50/60Hz Mod to the Master System on the german circuit-board. I know there’s also a switchless mod, but I didn’t have the needed parts at hand. Also, the SystemBoard in my Master System was already (factory)-modded. Turned out …

[Solution] Ubuntu 12.04 NFS Shares cause high CPU load + dropouts after upgrade from 10.04
After upgrading our Ubuntu Server from 10.04LTS to 12.04LTS, we noticed a severe decrease of Performance of our FOG Server. Noticed that during transfer (which uses NFS), the cpu load …
